Interpreting Tarot from the Heart
-
I was taught by a Wiccan friend once how to read tarot cards. A key point he taught me is that most tarot decks come with instructions or you can purchase manuals on how to interpret the cards. He explained to me that a true tarot card reader does not have to rely on these instructions or manuals. He taught me to look at each card and interpret the card from what I could see on the card and to make a determination from what I “felt” the card meant.
He allowed me to use him as my first victim although he did specify in a hypothetical situation it was not good to read someone you knew very well because of bias. I had him shuffle the cards and dealt the cards using layout called the “Celtic Cross“. I carefully looked at the cards and after a few minutes began. I told him I could see someone from his past that he lost contact with would show up out of the blue in a week or two. I told him he would not expect it. I told him that I could see that the encounter would not end with this initial meeting.
He laughed it off and told me that I did well for my first reading. A week and a half later, he was approached by a girl that he had not seen in awhile. He immediately recognized her as a dear friend from the past. They talked for hours and started dating thereafter. Six months later, they were married and have been married for over 10 years now.Obviously, I had a good tarot card teacher. Remember that tarot card instructions and manuals should only be used as supplementary aids. Using your heart to interpret as you can see from my experience can provide a more accurate and meaningful interpretation.
