Love psychic reading that came true
-
I went to a psychic as a gag with some girlfriends back in 2001. I had a friend who was getting married and she had always wanted to see a psychic so we planned a visit to a local “seer” in our town. Of course, the bride to be was ecstatic about the plans. The others, not so much. As for myself, I was a non-believer but figured it could be a large time.
Well, we went to see Ms. Sydney (the psychic) and she had the typical setup. She had the flowing tapestries on the wall; the rooms were dark with candlelight supplying the only light to the areas. She was dressed eccentrically and it was truly everything I had expected.
We each met with her individually. She would not let us sit in on the other’s sessions. She said it was to be a private moment and that we could share later if we wanted to.
When it came to be my turn, I didn’t hesitate. After all, this was all for fun.Ms. Sydney had me sit across from her. She stared at me for a long time. Finally, she began speaking. She began speaking things about my life that I hadn’t told her. She knew I had a daughter. She knew the kind of work I was in. She was looking right into my life; so it seemed.
She then told me that my true love would be met when I accepted a withstanding invitation from a co-worker to go to a dirt track race with her. A friend from work had been asking me for months to go to the races with her and her boyfriend. I never felt up to it.
So, that following Friday, when Marlene asked if I would go to the races, I said, “Sure, why not?” So that evening, Marlene and I drove and hour to the racetrack and we were having a great time. All of the sudden, Marlene’s boyfriend, Kyle came up to us walking with a man I had never met. This man was wearing a racing suit. He was one of the drivers. His name was Duane and he was Kyle’s brother.
Well, needless to say, Duane and I hit it off. We began dating immediately and were married in May of 2008. We are having a wonderful life. I cannot say I am a believer in psychics; but perhaps I am a believer in Ms. Sydney.
