True tarot readings can even happen for beginners
-
When I was in high school, I remember having an assignment to write a twenty page report on any topic of my choice. I wanted it to be something that I could really get into and learn about, that would easily take up the twenty pages that I needed to fill. To my teacher’s dismay I chose the subject of tarot cards. Writing a detailed description of each of the cards, according to a book I had purchased for research.
This book that I bought came with a deck of cards: Tarot of the Witches. I had initially thrown the cards aside to concentrate on my written part of the assignment. After several inquiries from my classmates, I decided to give reading the cards a try. I started at first with a few select friends. At first I was using the book to define the cards meaning. I remember thinking that these predictions are so vague, they have to come true, eventually. I found out that the more I played with the cards, the more readings for me were becoming less vague and more interesting. I was beginning to get the hang of creating my own meanings. I did that by randomly selecting a card from the deck each morning. How my day went or who I met that day, specific things that happened helped me validate what the tarot cards were saying to me. For example: one morning I pulled the hanged man, later that day a guy asked me out and was demolished when I turned him down. He was so certain of himself that when he didn’t get his way he acted as if his world was turned upside down. My conclusion was that the hanged man meant arrogance and denial, at least for me.
I started to let my friends touch the tarot decks before I read for them. Their answers started to make sense with the spread I was using. Things started to fall into place, for me and for them. I could detect a break-up, a hook-up, a liar, a cheater, once even a pregnancy. I was getting good. I cleaned my deck for each new user by putting the cards back in order, letting the new person shuffle them up for their own reading.
I did the best tarot reading ever on my friend Pattie. I told her about her past, which I found out about during the reading, with no previous knowledge. I learned of how she had abandoned her children with family, to leave with a no good kind of man. How she came back into their lives. Then I read the future for her. I found that her health was fading, her son would be divorced, and she would be living in a car. Scary thing was that within one year, it all came true. I scared my self with the powers I was just beginning to tap into. Once I learned of her being hospitalized and in need of a tracheal tube, I stopped reading. The future for me is to not know what will happen anymore. Just so you know, yes her son got divorced and yes she did live in her car. Yes, I also received an A on my paper.
